Kaleidoscope's O'Really

Portrait of Blarney by Sharon Michael

Standing just at 14.2 hands, Blarney is an eye-catching buckskin who carries one of the white spotting genes from his dam. I bred him specifically for the sportpony breeding program at Kaleidoscope Farm. He shows the desired Connemara bone and substance, plus exceptional movement. His sire, Big Bear's Special Order, was bred by the Big Bear Farm, noted for producing Connemaras with exceptional dressage potential. His dam, Gately's Red Robin, was sired by Balius Rhyddspence, who competed successfully through 4th level in dressage.

Bred on a limited basis, Blarney has produced a total of nine foals to date, four foals from pony mares and five foals from Thoroughbred, warmblood or sporthorse mares. The foals have been very uniform, with size, substance and excellent movement, with definite dressage potential as well as the Connemara enjoyment of jumping.

Blarney will be standing with Heidi Page Schmid near Louisville, KY in 2019.
Current stud fee is $500. Contact Heidi for more information.
